Cancellations by you

[EXAMPLE — CONFIRM WITH MANAGEMENT] Cancellation charges typically scale with how close to departure you cancel — for instance, a partial deposit loss for early cancellations rising to full trip cost for cancellations shortly before travel. Exact tiers and cut-off dates will be confirmed on your booking documents.

Non-refundable items

Certain costs are non-refundable once paid, regardless of when you cancel — for example gorilla trekking permits, some flight tickets, and deposits already paid to third-party lodges. These will be identified on your quote.

Cancellations by us

In the rare event we need to cancel a confirmed trip (for reasons outside your control), we'll offer an alternative trip of equivalent value or a full refund of amounts paid for the cancelled portion.

Travel insurance

We strongly recommend travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, medical emergencies and evacuation. It's the most reliable way to protect yourself against cancellation costs outside our control.
