Beach Holidays
Unwind on the Kenyan coast after — or instead of — a safari.
Kenya's coastline offers a natural extension to a safari or a standalone holiday in its own right, from the UNESCO-listed Swahili town of Lamu to the wider Diani and Mombasa coastline. Warm water, dhow sailing and a slower pace make for a good counterpoint to the early starts of a game-viewing itinerary.
Combining a few days on the coast with an inland safari is one of the most popular ways to see both sides of Kenya in a single trip, and is straightforward to arrange with a short domestic flight or road transfer between the two.
